It will feature a pre-event workshop entirely dedicated to EOSC, taking place on 27 November 2019 and also including a presentation about EOSC-Pillar.
EOSC's Evolutionary Scenarios - New Perspectives for Digital Cultural Heritage
Moderated by Sara de Giorgio - Central Institute for the Union Catalogue of Italian Libraries and Bibliographic Information
This workshop will introduce the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC), discuss the opportunities its creation offers the cultural heritage sector and provide an overview of the infrastructures behind its development. Adeline Joffres, Head of International Cooperation at Huma-Num, will describe the role of EOSC-Pillar in the context of National and European federated infrastructures.
The event will address the challenges and opportunities that the establishment of EOSC is posing to cultural heritage institutions.
