The EOSC-Pillar National Initiatives Survey, coordinated by the University of Vienna, assessed the current state of national initiatives in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, and Italy, regarding such topics as familiarity with FAIR data principles, open research data and services, in order to support their harmonisation and ultimately their integration into the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).

We have prepared a brief video highlighting some of the main findings for each of the four groups of stakeholders: Funding bodies, Universities, Research infrastructures, E-infrastructures. The five EOSC-Pillar countries also presented several differences on specific issues, which will have to be taken into account in the development and implementation of the EOSC, as we underlined in our position paper collected by EOSC Secretariat.
