An exciting series of three videos on the subject of data papers has just been published, co-produced by EOSC-Pillar in collaboration with CNRS (Huma-Num) and CO-OPERAS IN (OpenEdition) - in the framework of our Work Package dedicated to establishing FAIR Data services - as a new form of publication in Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) that is part of the Open Science movement.
Through the words of French researchers, editors and research engineers, relating concrete examples of publication, the videos address the scope of the data paper, the tools, the ecosystem that makes it up as well as the gaps that still need to be filled to facilitate their creation and accessibility.
One thing is certain, the data paper will become an indispensable type of publication for tomorrow's research in an open science environment.
